• Not a Vampire book, but worth mentioning!

I bought the first book on a whim. I liked the title and thought the book sounded interesting. Plus with all the vamp and were books I read I was feeling like a change of pace. Will I certainly found it with this series! I really loved it and went out an got the second book on the day it came out.

"Poison Study" is like a James Bond meets Harry Potter. The heroin is not the usual ballsy girl right off the bat. She is fragile, scared and just trying to live what ever life she can. She has strength that is slowly revealed and a sweetness that is a surprise with all the things she has suffered.

"Magic Study" is the her continued quest to find her place in a world ravaged by war and suspicion, even from her own family.

I have yet to pick up "Fire Study". Too many books, so little time....

I read this series and loved it. I think Magic Study was my personal favorite, but you should definitely pick up Fire Study. It's well worth it. =D

Thanks Lady Ethereal Butterfly (oy that is a type full )! I still liked Poison Study best. I just loved her slow fall into love and her growing respect for the Commander of Ixia. Also her slow realization that she has magic! But Magic Study was an great second book! I liked the fact that it flowed well with the first. I hate when you pick up the second book of a series and spend 5 chapters going over what happened in the first book. Thankfully Snyder knew better! I'll try and get Fire Study on my next book run!

I loved poison study as well. They were all fantastic novels. I agree completely about the flow of the second book. I don't like reading 5 chapters of back story either, especially if I read the books one after the other like I did with this series. You'll love Fire Study. Happy reading! ^_^

I read the first one and I remember I lvoed it, although I don't remember much about the story! Anyway, I already bought the other ones and I'l probably re-read "Poison Study" when I decide to read them. Do you know if "Fire Study" is the last one of the serie?
