I love this series but this book did not please me like the other ones. Cat keeps having dreams and a man shows up trying to claim her as his wife. Trouble brews with Cats and Bones relationship and this time it looks like it is ending for good. For me the novel was very good but the heart ache went on too long. read review

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO! It can't end that way! Who did she kill at the end? It can't be Barrons! It just can't! NO! I will admit I really did hate him in the beginning of the series, but I love him now! HE CAN'T DIE! I had an idea that the animal might be him because it enjoyed killing so much. But it can't be him!

I will hold on to the idea that the animal was not Barrons because he was with Mac when there was a large grumble beneath them in the garage. But I get this sick feeling … view post

    christina dodd really is an amazing writer and her darkness chosen for me is tied for first with the black dagger brotherhood series and the cool thing is that jr ward actually recommended this series.

    Wow! Lucky you!! I have yet to meet an author. I know what you mean about the Dark Hunters--overall, as a series, they are great, but some of the books leave something to be desired. That's what I'm finding with the "middle books" But the first few and Acheron are awesome--especially Acheron!! What a great book! I haven't read Bad Moon Rising yet--is it any good?

    Thanks for all the great recommendations!! I bought a Kresley Cole book (not the first one in the series, sadly, but I'll get it!!) and I bought "Angels Blood" by Nalini Singh--I've been really excited to read both, so it's great to hear more good things!

    I LOVE BDB!! I can't wait for Lover Mine...I don't live near a Chapters (closest is 1.5 hours away), but I want it the day it comes out!!! I also really like the Dark Hunter series by Sherrilyn Kenyon--have you read those? They're great!! :)

    I see you are reading Dreamfever it ends on such a cliff hanger you are gonna be like trying to figure out what is what. Barrons become incredible with Mac, and i am dying for shadowfever but its not out until December, i could scream.

    I hope you liked them so far cus I love the fever series, so good.

    I heard it was good, but very diff from the HIghlander. I know there is three out (1 hardcopy) and one coming out. I am trying to put off reading it till the fourth is out. I hate waiting. I have enough books that I have to wait for!
