• "Blay and Qhuinn" Novella News

Ward's confirmed; explicit man love. My apologies to those who aren't into this kinda thing.

For all you Blay and Qhuinn fans I copied the following Question/Answer from the WARDen's website regarding the release of her much anticipated Qhuay novella, SOUNDING GOOOD :)

ALSO An Unforgettable Lady by Jessica Bird (Ward) was re-released yesterday. Its a contemporary romance

Q- Are you definitely doing a novella or is it something that's just a thought at this point? I know that you're doing 2 short stories as well as the novel next year will you be able to fit in a novella about Blay and Qhinn before the novel comes out or will we have to wait until all those are done? I can't tell you how excited I am that these two are a confirmed pairing! They are meant to be together, I'm just anxious to read their story. And I would be more than happy to have them in a full novel, but I can understand why you might want to give readers an option

A-Right now the novella of Blay and Qhuinn- which I frankly think should be entitled "Blay and Qhuinn"- is just in the thinking stages. It would be devoted solely to them- so the readers who've speculated it will cover as much territory as one of the hardcovers just without the subplots are right, I suspect. If I did the story, it would be explicit- which is why I want to call it Blay and Qhuinn. That way, people know what they're getting and those who aren't comfortable can give the book a pass. Not sure whether it would be a hardcover novella or a paperback- that would be a decision for my publisher.

First there needs to be some time that passes, and an event or two must happen, before the story is ready to be written. It's kind of like how Tohr needs some time, you know? So I don't have a date yet and my publisher hasn't bought it because she and I are still noddling on the best way to do them.

But I promise to keep everyone informed!

    MUUAH! J.R.

Not usually my type of thing, but in Lover Mine I was so emotionally wrapped up in the relationship of Blay and Qhuinn that once this novella comes out I am going to defiantly read it. J.R. Ward is such a brilliant writer...I cannot wait till this story is out. And thank god Blay and Qhuinn are a couple!

Thanks Jbugs. Seriously made my day.I understand the title thing. But i think even people who aren't too into M/M lovin, would be swayed by Qhuinn and Blay. "Explicit" ..is just what i ordered. Hot freakin picture too yum.

I was hoping that the whole Saxton being a man ho was just Q's trying to keep B from getting involved. I know a lot of you are Team "Qhay" or "Blinn" (sorry, I'm not good with these name blendings) but I actually don't want them to be together. I think Blay has suffered enough emotionally at Q's hands. I think if they were to hook up that it wouldn't be a permenant thing. After it happened Q would go back to dening his feelings. Stupid Q and poor foolish B. :(

Ha! Rohg "that woman" is a little on the hairy side too.

I'm not a big fan osf Saxton either but he does love Blay, always has. He just doesn't want to be any more different (in societies eyes) then he already is.

No Jilly no date for this yet like Ward says some stuff has to happen first so I'm thinking a year (a book) or more :(

I haven't read any sole m/m, so I would have to read it and see. My wallet says "paperback" but that will be upto her.

JBug, the Kiosk in-store has the OLD cover for An Unforgettable Lady. :S

Instead of paperback.. they should just call it a special edition bareback. I haven't really read any strictly M/M books.. but i like.. no, love M/M visual entertainment a lot. ok.. porn lol.

I like that cover you posted, too. Has anyone read it? and if so, how is it?

Steph..The bareback idea is Awesome. and yeah I'm pretty into the M/M action myself. Where the heck is Darien for this conversation??

AJ This is going to be published in PB so all of our wallets can breathe a sigh of relief. Of course we also get Wrath and Beth's novella and Rhage and Marys which I'm assuming will be out way before Qhauy
