  • My Summer Horror reading

Posted by Kelly Wilson, 3 years ago

right now I'm reading Crimson by Gord Rollo, so far so good. I read his last one The Jigsaw Man and it was really good, very visceral and creepy.

Others I plan to read this summer and fall

    Duma Key by Stephen King
Frankenstein 3 by Dean Koontz (July 28)
The Tale of the Body Thief and Memnoch the Devil by Anne Rice
Urban Gothic by Brian Keene (Aug 1)
    Bloodstone by Nate Kenyon
His Father's Son by Bentley Little (Sept 1)
Touch of Dead by Charlaine Harris (Oct)
Under the Dome by Stephen King (Nov 10)

  • Just read Mr. X - awesome book

Posted by Grayv, 3 years ago

I finally read Peter Straub's "Mr. X" - great book. If you haven't read anything by him before, please do yourself a favour and try him (any book will do...). No romances between vampires here so be warned.

    Anno Dracula

Any word on when the next in this series will be published?

    Blood Colony?

Posted by Tara Murphy, 4 years ago

    Hello,
Wondered if anyone had any thoughts on Tananarive Due? Her novel "the good house" wasn't bad....was curious if anyone has read her most recent work "blood colony"?

  • Just finished a review for Blood Wars by Lumley

Posted by Grayv, 4 years ago

Great book but a little long. Ending was a little bit dumb but still well worth reading. Not reading any horror presently but I still have Dreamcatcher on my shelf glaring at me from way back. Also did a review on Keene's The Rising recently.

  • Edward Lee King of Horror?

Posted by Brett McDonald, 4 years ago

I'm curious as to whether or not anyone has read anything by Edward Lee. I've read his "Infernal Angel" novel; gruesome, somewhat grotesque, though a thriller nonetheless. Any comments or further reading suggestions are welcome.
