  • My day thus far:

Posted by BuffyBot, 2 years ago

So this probably should go in the rants/raves group, but i decided to put it here....
So here's my day: I get into work happy that it is tuesday (every book lover LOVES tuesdays!!) but a little sad because there is nothing that i am really anticipating that is supposed to be out today. There we are at the morning meeting doing the tuesday show and tell, when i hear "and this is the new teen stuff..." My eyes perk up and i see this book. Instantly i squeel like a little girl who was just told that she gets a brand new shiny pink unicorn. The book: Infinity by Sherrilyn Kenyon. Now before you run away (like some of my coworkers did) let me explain to you why my body made an extreamly high pitched noise that no 30 year old should ever make.
    1. I new this book was coming out but i didn't realise that it was a teen book. I used to love SKs DH series but honestly the formulated romance bores me to tears and i have mostly given up. I love the story, but there is just too much romance crap to keep my attention. This book ebing teen has the HUGE potential to NOT have all that romantic crap and just have story story story!!
    2. ITS NICK!!! Nick is the guy that everyone loves to hate. He is so irritating that i want to read him to see what the heck is going to happen.
    3. ITS OUT 2 WEEKS EARLY!!!!!!! I checked the strict on sale not that long ago and we had it to be released June 8th. So yeah, i get it early!!!
    4. My son is away tonight so i get to sit down and read it RIGHT NOW!!!

so in closing that was may day, i am super excited to read this book and i hope that it can live up to the HUGE expectation that i have of it. With that in mind, i am getting the heck off this comp and putting my nose in a book, see ya in a few hours!!!!

    The New Website

Posted by AlbertaJenn, 3 years ago

Has anyone else had a chance to have a look at the new site? It's pretty cool, I have to say. I like the run down of all the characters. It's going to come in handy, with so many books coming up! And a sneak peek into the Chronicles or Nick.
