    There are certain books that have lived on my TBR shelf for years, classics, critically acclaimed, or "must read before you die" that I have promised myself over and over that I will get to and never do.

    Well, I have finally selected 9 of these neglected, but not forgottens and have committed to reading them this year.

    They are, in no particular order,

    1. Birdsong...Sebastian Faulks
    2. Any Human Heart...William Boyd
    3. Possession....AS Byatt
    4. Rebecca....Daphne Du Maurier
    5. Clara Callan...Richard B. Wright
    6. Shantaram...Gregory David Roberts
    7. Gone with the Wind...Margaret Mitchell
    8. The Abhorsen Chronicles...Garth Nix
    9. A Fine Balance...Rohinton Mistry
    If you find you have books on your shelf or in your pile that have been there for years, feel free to join me, together we may find that amongst the dust laid an undiscovered gem, or a destined favorite!

    I think I'm going to try and start #8 this weekend, and I'm actually kind of excited, I've wanted to read this YA for years!
