    Sixth Book in 2010

Posted by Hunny~Bunny, 3 years ago

I just finished the sixth book in the Black Dagger Brotherhood series, Lover Enshrined by J.R Ward.
To start off I really did like the book once I got into it and past all the jumping around with the 3 to 4 different stories going on in the book. I loved seeing Phury come out of his hell he put himself in and enjoy love and life. Glad he finally found someone he can be with and be himself with. So with that being said I also have to say that I found that the book jumps around a lot and there is soo much happening that the actual story of Phury and Cormina is definitely not the main focus of the book and that was very frustrating at times. On that note though some of the sub plots were very interesting and definitely set up for the next book. Very interesting twists and turns. I just think that there could have been less of the sub plots and more of Phury. But it was still a good book and has not changed my opinion of the brothers.

Fiercely loyal to the Black Dagger Brotherhood, Phury has sacrificed himself for the good of the race, becoming the male responsible for keeping the Brotherhood's bloodlines alive. As Primale of the Chosen, he is to father the sons and daughters who will ensure that the traditions of the race survive and that there are warriors to fight those who want all vampires extinguished.
As his first mate, the Chosen Cormia wants to win not only his body but his heart for herself- she sees the emotionally scarred male behind all his noble responsibility. But while the war with the Lessening Society grows more grim, and tragedy looms over the Brotherhood's mansion, Phury must decide between duty and love.
