And the Giller Winner Is......

The winner of the 2012 Scotiabank Giller Prize is Will Ferguson for his novel 419, a novel about Internet scamming and according to the book jacket description: " a novel both epic in its sweep and intimate in its portrayal of human endurance."

Calgary writer, Will Ferguson is more well known for his humour and travel books. His work, which has been published in more than twenty languages around the world, has been nominated for both an IMPAC Dublin Award and a Commonwealth Writers' Prize, and he is a three-time winner of the Leacock Medal.
