  • Sequel-ish to Shadow of the Wind

Posted by Word Taster, 11 months ago

I can't remember who reviewed Carlos Ruis Zafón's Shadow of the Wind, but just as a matter of interest, he's got a newly released book out called The Prisoner of Heaven that revisits the now-grown character in Shadow, the Cemetery of Forgotten Books and the Sempere & Sons bookshop. I saw it the other day during my seemingly monthly visit to my fave local Chapters and it looks as interesting as Shadow of the Wind. I only saw it on the way out and had already spent more than I should, so I left it for another visit, or I'll purchase it online, but for those who read Shadow of the Wind and loved it, it looks like another wonderful and wondrous piece of storytelling. If it's anything like Shadow, it'll be a book I reread over and over.
