  • Carmindy Book Launch in Toronto

    How much do we heart Carmindy? If we didn't already think she was lovely and talented, we've become bigger fans since meeting her at her book launch for her new book, Get Gorgeous. Hosted last thursday at Sephora (October 8, 2008), Carmindy was warm, funny, and charming as she dicussed the motivation for her latest book. During her previous book tour, as women came up to get their book signed, she would often compliment a beautiful feature that they possessed. They, in turn, consistently replied, "Thank you, but I hate my..." For every striking feature Carmindy saw, each woman retorted with a beauty "flaw".

    It was time for women to truly see and value the inner AND outer beauty that we all possess, she thought. And that "theme" evolved into a beauty manifesto: Get Gorgeous.

    I definately heart Carmindy! The make up and hair is my favourite part of What Not to Wear.
