There Once Was A Boy Named Pierre
Who Only would say..."I don't care.."

Oh I hear Carole King sing this from the Really Rosey soundtrack and I get all gushy inside. Maurice Sendak is most well known for Where the Wild Things Are. But he has other, wonderful books that give me warm fuzzies whenever I am having one of those days.

The Nutshell Library contains four of these great books: Pierre, Chicken Soup with Rice, Alligators All Around and One Was Johnny...Most of these were turned into songs at one point and if you can get your hands on the soundtrack...let me know!
