Volume 3 of The Vampire Diaries: The Fury

Posted by Demon Wolf Lurking, 2 years ago

    -Warning, Spoilers-

I'm reading the combined book for The Fury and Dark Reunion, and I just finished The Fury. I enjoyed it. Even though Elena is now a vampire she still felt like a normal person, so it's not too over the top.

I'm still iffy on how they change into animals. When I originally found out they could do that, I thought it was just into one type - Damon with the crow and Stefan with the eagle - and then Damon changed into a wolf. Apparently, they can change into whatever they want. But when they get attacked by a tiger, he goes into a wolf again? Why wouldn't he change into something that could at least stand a chance against the tiger, or do I just have the wrong info on changing?

The ending was bittersweet. I liked it very much, but I'll be sad to see Elena gone. Bonnie's diary entry at the end was touching. I want to start on Dark Reunion now, but I have to sleep =P
