Thank You For All Your Recommendations!

I've been gone for a few months due to personal junk, and much to my surprise, have returned to find many recommendations!

My bookshelf is tragically outdated so I'll need to bump it up to speed. In the meantime, I wished to thank the following for sending through book titles and music suggestions: Hannah, Cindy Orischuk, Trinity, Author of Darkness, Melissa and Beary, Danielle, K-Dubs, Samia, Roxxie, Julie, Midnight Sunrise and last but not least, Kat. view post

    Amaranth,

I was able to find the first episode of Ultraviolet on Youtube. Here is the link if you have some time to watch it. I believe the other five are also on Youtube.

    Enjoy!

P.S. Great new display picture! It reminds me of September. You know, like an Indian summer.

Whoever said complaining doesn't work obviously never had a bunch of peed off bookaholics whining at them, or me whining at them. I'm a pretty effective complainer. Maybe the word I should’ve used was annoying, not effective, haha.

Oh man, I feel your pain on trying to cut back on book purchases. I haven't been doing very well at it. If I win the lottery or get a big inheritance, I'll take you book shopping, ok?

How is Shadow doing? Poor baby. Getting excited for True Blood?

    Talk soon!

Top of the . . . mid afternoon to you! Haha. I wish I'd gotten to this note while it was still morning.

Yes, I'm definitely enjoying the Lords of the Underworld series. It's hot stuff. I agree that it's a nice switch, not that I'm complaining either. I mean seriously, how could I ever get sick of vampires? I plan to pre-order The Darkest Whisper so it ships to me without me having to remember about it. I love pre-orders now that the shipping policy got changed back from all the complaining.

Hey, I am enjoying the summer, just not the rain. Hope you can find Ultrviolet. Anyway, enjoy your summer, stay outdoors and we can talk more when it snows.

    Hey!

I'm peachy keen. How about you? I've been checking online, but no luck so far. I'll keep checking today, so hopefully I'll catch you.

I feel the same about True Blood. Episode 2 was Eric-tastic! It was glorious and seductive. *stops before she says something X-rated* Yes, I most certainly want to know what Alexander Skarsgard had to say about women.

I'll pop online again later. See you then hopefully! Hugs!

So, thoughts on the episode? I'm THRILLED that Lafayette is still kicking around, but his current situation sucks. I was getting upset that Eric was absent the whole episode, but then be showed up at the end with foils in his hair. Gawd, I love looking at that man. He's cruel though. Sookie and Bill were hot together, hey? Jason is going to end up in a world of hurt with those FOTS people. Overall, I thought it was a good start to the new season. I just hope we see more Eric!

    Lady Ethereal Butterfly says:

Quinn isn't as perfect as he seems. He has a dark past and there is a lack of proper communication between him and Sookie. Yes, Sookie does have more adventures with "Easy-On-The-Eyes Northman". I love that, by the way.

I don't consider myself hard to buy for at all. Hand me a gift card to Chapters and I'm thrilled, but someone people who by for me have a fear of bookstores/haven't read a book for 40 years, so I'm hard to buy for from their point of view.
