A Discovery Of Witches: A Novel

A Discovery Of Witches: A Novel | Deborah Harkness

Must Read!!!

This book is by far the best book that I've read in a long time!!! I've read Harry Potter and all the Sookie Stackhouse books but this tops them all!! Its so good you won't be able to put it down. The only problem with this book is I couldn't wait to read more but I didn't want it to end. I'm afraid I won't be able to find anything as good! read review

Hey, Thanks for the friend request. I have read silent thunder and thought it was awesome, I like the combination of Iris and her son. The book reminded me of some of her earlier writing, when she first broke into the mystery side of things from the romance novels.

  • Lady Ethereal Butterfly

    Lady Ethereal Butterfly says:

I wonder how many more books there will be before Sookie makes a choice. Did anything more happen with Sookie and Quinn or is that relationship totally dead?

If Sookie ends up with Eric or Bill, do you want her to become a vampire? How do you think Charlaine Harris would work that whole angle?

  • Lady Ethereal Butterfly

    Lady Ethereal Butterfly says:

After your hints, I went and looked it up to see who died. Well, I'm so sad about Claudine and Trey. I didn't like Crystal, so she's not a big loss to me. Jason must be sad though.

I love Eric, but if Sookie ended up with Bill, I'd be happy with that too as long as he really proved that he loved her with some grand gesture. I don't know if she will be able to trust him though. I honestly think that Bill loves her, but he deceived her so exquisitely. I want to know who Sookie will choose!

  • Lady Ethereal Butterfly

    Lady Ethereal Butterfly says:

My initial thought was that she would kill off Bill so Sookie could be with Eric, but I would have been devastated about Bill. I'm on team Eric, but I still have a soft spot for Bill. I'm also relieved that it's not Sam. He's too nice to die.

Hey, is Sookie still mad at Jason? Does her great-grandfather show up? Does Hunter have a part in the book?

I'm so anxious for Dead and Gone to arrive.

TGIF! I hope you have a great weekend!

    I'm VERY sure! I'm a spoiler junkie, so it doesn't ruin the book for me. Ok, so C, T/D, and C . . . Hmmm . . .

T/D has to be Trey/Dawson. That's sad. I quite liked him and I was hoping Amelia would hook up with him for a bit. Awww.

C... It's Claudine, isn't it? Say it isn't so! I really like her!! Maybe it's her bro Claude. I could live with that, but he's not a major character.

The other C could be Calvin or Crystal... Is there anyone else who has C in there name?

Hi Amy ... thanks fo rthe freind request and I am SOOOO glad you enjoyed the Fairstein series. I am a couple of books behind, but fully intend to catch up again this summer! The other series I enjoy is the Nora Roberts "Death" series that she writes under the name J.D. Robb. I love Eve Dallas, her interestingf circle of friends and coworkers and especially love Rourke! Other than that nothing comes to mind off the top of my head ... but if anything comes to me I'll let you know.
