Julius! Wild West Bananza

Julius! Wild West Bananza | Paul Frank

Bright, Colourful, Likable Characters & A Good Message...

Bright, colourful, likable characters and a good message... are the ingredients for a great children's picture book. The characters of Julius and Friends are back in these lovely pages in a tale set in the old west. Julius is the sheriff of a town called, Plainsville. And, like it's name, Plainsville is rather plain indeed. Everyone in Plainsville is the same. They eat the same food at the same time of day, and wear the same clothes, boots, hats, pants the very same way. Until one day Ju… read review

I have a new group for those interested in joining:

I’ve seen in the book groups fleeting comments that skirt the edges of our discussions, slightly apologetic for the graphic nature within the content of the books or poetry some members have read while discussing other aspects of their content.

It occurred to me that the community could really use an outlet to discuss the more sensuous aspects of art, literature & poetry. This group is an open forum to share, discuss … view post

    Hey, how are you?
I love your profile pic, it just made me smile.
I see your reading the blue bloods series and the mortal instrument series; how are you liking them. I just started the former and as for the latter it is one of my fav series.

I see you are/have read the blue blood series. What did you think of it? personally i bought the first two books, read them and was upset that i waisted the money. They were ALRIGHT, but really there was not much special about them. I like the whole angel idea, but i find i am sometimes confused with the mythology aspect. Maybe i am just not paying attention as i am reading, who knows. What are your thoughts?

  • BuffyBot

    BuffyBot says:

yeah, i read the first one and didn't really like it. It was OK, but i think that there are more series out there that i will enjoy more that i almost don't want to waist time on this one. Although i have had series where the first was so-so and then i fell in love later on. I have no idea what i am going to do. Honestly i have not read anything in weeks!

oh i see you have read the Jaz parks series, what did you think of them? I have read the first one and was not too impressed, so i started something else and have not descided if i should go back to it or not.

ha so i thought i would share this with you. I ordered Backup off amazon and silly me, i did not realize amazon.com and .ca are different, so i ended up paying WAY more than i should have for this book. I am a little upset. Oh well, i hope it is good. I just read the short story in many bloddy returns and it got me ansy for April, i guess i now have backup to keep me tied over till then. Thanks for all the help!!!

Thanks for helping me find that Backup book that i have been looking for. As it turns out noone has heard of it and those who have said that they can not get it in. So i had to resort to order it from amazon. It is turning out to be VERY expensive and a pain in the butt. Oh the things we do for books!!! Again, thanks. I really hope that this works out!
