The final book in the luxe serie was sure to have some unexpected twists, but never would I have guessed any of them. In Splendor, we found again the same wonderful writting that draw us in the The Luxe and its sequels, the descriptions were nice, the storyline really good. All in all, a great read until we hit the final chapter. What I mean is that the end of the book left me a thoughful and maybe a little sad.     LOL, the VA books are pretty addicting once you start. That's less waiting than me... but you're absolutely right about the waiting part... I hate it too.
    I picked up the first book when it just came out (I hadn't heard about it before then) but after that, I've had to wait patiently for each book since then, It's a good thing the books have been released relatively fast... like 2 per year. If only 1 book had been released each year, that would have been a very long time...

    No i haven't saw the movies. I started reading the third book first. and i quite don't really like it. But i'm going to get the first one and read that one and see how it goes.
