Memoirs of a Geisha

Memoirs of a Geisha | Arthur Golden

Even better than the movie! A MUST read!

Ten times better than the movie, the book has amazing description that practically takes you there. It explains so much more about the life of a Geisha than the movie ever could. I highly recommend reading this before seeing the movie, it makes you understand certain details about a geisha's attire and demeanor that the movie never explores. Wonderful book! read review

I went and saw it last night. Yeah, it was a pretty good movie. The 3D stuff made it so cool. Boy, does Tim Burton ever have a creative mind!

You certainly need to watch this film at the cinema in order to give you the "full" experience - don't want to miss out on the 3D action. Hope you like it. Let me know your thoughts after you see it.

    Hey there Becky!

If you enjoyed Secret Life of Bees for the character development, then I would like to recommend The Friday Night Knitting Club and its sequel, Knit Two.

Kate Jacobs has mastered building incredible characters in her novels.

Plus they are overall an enjoyable read.

    Have you read these?

Add "The Hunger Games" on your list. You WILL NOT be disappointed. I would be more then happy to lend it to you. I'm pretty sure it will only take you a day to read.
