I don't know if you've heard of the new show Haven but its based off of the book The Colorado Kid by Stephen King. My gf and I had started watching it and she kept mentioning to me about how the show really didn't follow the book at all and it had me curious to know what she was talking about so I took it upon myself to start the book and find out for myself. The Dresden Files

I was wondering who here likes or even loves The Dresden Files? I am now moving on to book #6 in the series and this is surely one of my favourite series in a long time! The protagonist (Dresden) is a very likable and believable character and you can relate with him easily. Even though he is a wizard he still has his problems and always seems to get mixed into trouble way above his level.

Also, if anyone has read both the novels and watched the TV show, what are your thoughts? view post
