The Day I Shot Cupid: Hello, My Name Is Jennifer Love Hewitt And I'm A Love-Aholic

The Day I Shot Cupid: Hello, My Name Is Jennifer Love Hewitt And I'm A Love-Aholic | Jennifer Hewitt

For any Love-aholic out there

Not only is this book helpful when dealing with the ups and downs of being a woman, the relationships and stages that we go through, but it also gives the reader an insight into JLH's life, and shows that she's just like us. It's a quick easy read, and with the humor thrown in, you won't be able to put it down till you're done. read review

    Hey Brittney!
It has been awhile! How are you and your bf, lol?
Ugh, I just want it to be the holidays already! My exams are coming up so I'm already starting to get all stressed out about them. I've been counting down the days until they're over so I can relax and read for fun again! :)

lol, thanks for support! Only 1 week and it already feels so much longer...

And yes, catching the bouquet does seem like a good sign and hopefully everyone talking about it has truth to it, and they're not just plain gossiping! I've never been to the Dominican (or that far South for that matter) but I've seen pics and it looks gorgeous... like a perfect spot for a wedding for one day. You'll definitely have to keep me updated! lol =)

And good luck to you too when you return to school!!

I'm taking Life Sciences... ugh, so much memorizing to do... my brain is going to be complete mush soon. I'm sure you have to do that for law too. But other than the awfulness that is school, everything else has been good!

Ad yay! I'm so glad about your new bf! You both look so happy together and that's cool how you caught the bouquet!! Let's hope it's a good sign of things to come. :)

Hey! Ugh, I just started University, so I've been pretty busy lately. I'm trying to get used to the routine of getting to school since I'm commuting and then there's so much more work to do than high school. I wish it was still summer!, that's for sure!

How about you? You changed your pic! Is that your new bf?? lol :)

    Liz (Midnight Bloom) says:

Well, I passed... always a good thing, lol, and I even got some scholarship money for having the highest mark for a couple things. And yes, you should definitely check out the Chicagoland Vampires series by Chloe Neill when you have a chance.
I went to Boston for a few days with my relatives during the July 4 weekend but other than that, I've been around home or seeing the relatives again (I'm really close to them). I've been trying to stay inside though, it's been so hot outside! You?

  • Liz (Midnight Bloom)

    Liz (Midnight Bloom) says:

The first book in the series is called Some Girls Bite and recently the third one came out... and seriously, I feel like the books are only getting better and better! :)

I also see Nice Girls Don't Have Fangs on your plan to read. I read that a month or so ago and it was funny for a vampire novel. Kind of like a fluff read that you don't need to take too seriously but you'll still enjoy it. I haven't checked out the next book for it though.

    Liz (Midnight Bloom) says:

Sorry I didn't get back to you right away... was rather busy earlier with exams and now that school's over, I've been out a lot enjoying my summer break.
lol, thanks for that little compliment. More book recommendations?
Hmm... have you checked out Chloe Neill's Chicagoland Vampires series? They're adult and the main character Merit has been recently turned into a vampire (two things I know you're not against reading, lol). Her writing is so sarcastic and the action/pace is really good!

  • Liz (Midnight Bloom)

    Liz (Midnight Bloom) says:

No problem! I'm so glad you're enjoying it!! :)

  • Liz (Midnight Bloom)

    Liz (Midnight Bloom) says:

Iron King is my favourite fearie book and easily the best YA one I've ever read. It's really exciting and something was always happening...the main character Meghan discovers that her younger brother has been kidnapped by faeries so she sets out to Faeryland with her best friend, who she learns is actually Puck (like from Midsummer's Night Dream), to try to get her brother back! There's a lot of exciting moments and of course, some forbidden romance!
