I really enjoyed this book and how it played out like a movie (which one was made), but yet stuck to the fact. Jonas does a great job of explaining the background to the Israeli-Palestinian issue as well. read review

Just finished reading the Lemon Tree, an exellent book about a jew and and arab whose lives connect together during the 1967 war. Thought it was very well written, and also described both sides of the conflict in a way that leaves the reader torn, yet more understanding of the crisis that both arabs and jews face currently. view post
