...going to europe first, I figure get a feel for the company before going all the way to asia, and they have some great europe packages, they aint' cheap, but compared to others they're not half bad, and I figure I can always go back, but seeing as much as i can, even if its the main stuff, at least I've checked it off my list you know?

Oh reading...I have been slacking all year! But the best book I've read this year was one I picked up in Seattle, it's Glaciers by Alexis Smith. I loved it!

you just back from a mediterranean cruise? JEALOUS!!! How was it? The comment about groups tours...I don't know if it was meant to be sarcastic, perhaps a little, but i honestly didn't know that they existed! So i have discovered contiki, and i need to pick your brain! I need to know what you thought and whetehr you would think that a suitcase would be managabl and if not how to a fit everything inside a backpack? They do do asia, but i was actually maybe considering...

Hey! Sorry I've been off the grid recently! Work...ugh. But now I'm back. So thinking about travelling...I actually found this thing called the group tour...there are whole companies that do this, and I wish I had found out sooner :P. Alas, Mexico and Vegas flew by, email me? and I shall tell you all about it :) So I'm finally really starting to logistically think about Vietnam, and paying for Vietnam, I'm excited, I'm thinking mid 2013! So, what about you? Any trips planned for 2012??

Haha, yea I'm on 48 and I have a few free days after Christmas so I'm gonna try my darndest to make it! I won't, but I'm certainly gonna try. Next year I won't though, I'll be catching up on all my thick books haha!
I have been so busy! I working a lot, I mean 5-6 8 hour days a week isn't really that much but I'm having trouble finding time for anything else. I'm just not used to it haha.
I hope you have a wonderful Christmas as well, and I can't wait to hear all about your trip :D

it would definitely suck, so close! But not quite there. So I'm gonna go read...what number are you on?

  • emerson entwistle

    emerson entwistle says:

Definitely a fast read, and it kept me turning the pages but yea, a little disappointing compared to Shadow of the Wind, but it was the authors first published book, so I hope to read another of his books.
As I said, I am a suitcase locker. Wherever I go lol
Oh really? I'm not gonna make it to 52, looking at my schedule! Finishing 8 books in 3 weeks will not be happening. I wish it would, and it sucks cause I'm so close! I'll probably make it to like 48 or something annoying, but I shall try!

Oh and I'm on 46, The Bookshop - Penelope Fitzgerald. Prince of Mist wasn't so great, but Bridges of Madison County was. I cried...like a baby haha.

Hmm...I'll have to do some research. I have ALWAYS locked my case, but then I've only flown to England, but I don't feel safe if it isn't locked. I just don't want to lock it as usual and for the security people to think that it's suspicious or something. I'll have to think about it somemore, but I'm leaning towards locking it anyway...

I'm reading 44 and 45, I'm reading a lot more poetry these days...ahem. I want to reach my goal! 5 weeks and 7 books...it's gonna be interesting lol!
I am not worse haha, Honestly I didn't plan it that way, the cruise is a family thing and vegas...well it was as cheap as we were going to find it. I have a travel question for you though. Is it true that when travelling to the States, you can't lock your suitcase? Or if you do they will search it? I've never flown into the States before...
