I just loved how she created a whole new magical world that made sense. It was a fun book with a good plot and a sense of humor. I loved the characters and how they came alive. I had a small issue with what happened to Quentin??, but other than that I greatly enjoyed it. I am looking forward to reading her next book, Armed and Magical. I can't wait to see how she expands the world she's created and I want to see more of her main characters, they were very gripping and made you care about their … read review

    I agree Lisa Shearin is a very unique writer. She changes a personnes view on an age old race (goblins). But, she does so in a way that is Light and funny and at the sametime it has a very 'serious quest' feel to it therefore making the book have a good point.
