Twist on a classis love story

A gem of a novel. The author leads off as though embarking on a classic gooey love story only to throw a number of very unlikely curves in the reader's direction. The story of Cornelia's introduction to Martin (the love interest) and ultimately the charming eleven year old Clare has delightfully unexpected suprises and issues such as adulthood, parenting, loss, and the discover of love in unlikely situations. read review

October Already!

I am stunned that the summer is long gone and we are now well on our way to fall!

Tonight I am planning on going to see the lovely James Blunt in concert at the Pheonix in Toronto. Although I have not listened to his new CD asmuch as I like, I imagine it will end up in constant rotation in my house just like his first.

Also, I have taken the plunge and begun the 7th Harry Potter novel (I began reading the series just a few short weeks ago.) Stay tuned....
