The Book Of Awesome: Snow Days, Bakery Air, Finding Money In Your Pocket, And Othersimple, Brilliantthings

The Book Of Awesome: Snow Days, Bakery Air, Finding Money In Your Pocket, And Othersimple, Brilliantthings | Neil Pasricha

It's a list, not a novel. Get that first, then enjoy...

My top 3: Leftover office cake, someone else's tv remote, & rock paper scissors. Everyone picks a different top 3 out of the book. Food Network- Ina Garten

Known as the Barefoot Contessa, Ina Garten is synonymous with what I call the New American French Cuisine. A few signature recipes found in her books that come to mind are the ones that typify the classic French- brioche, slow roasted meats, and rich sauces, to name a few.

  • About Me:

We once only wrote about a tiny world in the here and now. Then we wrote lofty dreams about what might be. Here, we the gifted ones stand today, much writing behind us to rethink what was, better informed about the here and now of a much bigger world, and armed with much more foresight to write tomorrow's dreams.

Hi Diahann. Let me know what you think of Retro III. Some of my recent purchases are: Rise-Anoushka Shankar, The Man-Machine-Kraftwerk, Complete Sonatas-Beethoven, Africa Guitar Summit-Various, Cavatina-Highlights from the Guitar Collection, Gypsy Soul: The New Flamenco-Various, Italian Concerto-Bach, and a whole bunch of others--mainly guitar stuff and classical. How about you?

Hi Diahann. We haven't chatted in a while so I thought I would say hi! I love your cookbook reviews and food 101 post. They are always helpful. Did you see the new Rush Retrospective III CD? It's a great sampling of their recent stuff. It's been in pretty heavy rotation on my CD player since I picked it up.
