The Last Child

The Last Child | John Hart

This is what it's all about!

'The Last Child' was recommended to me by a Chapters employee and he didn’t steer me wrong. The book has all the great characteristics of a great read: fast paced, unexpected twists, and characters that leap from the page. I ripped through this book with an unbelievable anticipation. It was one of those books that you just can't put down and in the end you wished there were more pages to read. Enjoy! Dwayne www.dwaynekavanagh.com read review

Dwayne Kavanagh, as a child, found comfort in the dark corners of his imagination. Dwayne was born in Toronto and raised in Burlington, Ontario, Canada. He lives with his Fiancée, Nicky and her sports fanatic son Lucas, and with unconditional love for his beautiful daughters Megan and Emily, in southern Ontario.

    I haven't read it either.

Matthew Reilly's Scarecrow series or his Jack West series are adrenaline rushes. JA Konrath's Jack Daniels series is great, funny, good police procedural with really psychotic killers I think YOU might enjoy, lol.

hmmm, all you have on your bookshelf is King and Koontz! Looks like you need to branch out. But if you want something along the same line that has one of the most eccentric characters around, you should try Relic by Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child. It's an oldie, but the first book in their Pendergast series.

Hi Dwayne. I did get your 1st reply but then my local internet server suffered what the Bell tech called a "catastrophic event" & after going up & down for 3 days it was down completely for another 3 while they replaced the entire amplification system, if I understand how DSL works correctly. And dial-up was not worth the frustration. So, apologies for the delay in getting back to you. Good luck with editing. I do know about your book and followed some of the conversation regarding it. Be well.

Hi Dwayne. First, thank for the friends invite! Apologies on the delayed response. I've had serious computer issues for the last year or so and have only just gotten back online. Though II will have to saving checking your published works for when I have more time.

Dwayne. Thank you for your kind friend request. You may notice that among many members who have anywhere from 100 to 2500 friends, I have 41, all of whom I generally keep in relatively regular contact with and who know me to some extent. I don't collect them for no reason, and ignore more than I accept. I often accept those who bother to write a note, but you didn't. I hope you won't find my question rude or impertinent, but why do you want to be my 'friend', such as they are around here?

Thank you for your friend request. I appreciate it very much! I'm not on the Chapters site often but I do keep my website (jeejeebhoy.ca), blog, and Twitter account updated and active. And I'll soon be joining Script Frenzy to write a web series version of my book "Lifeliner." I wish you much success with your novel "A Child's Wound."

I lived in TO for a few years (went to York University) so I remember the damp cold. I also remember how awful you guys are at driving in snow, lol. I used to laugh when what in Winnipeg would be an everyday snowfall, in TO would practically shut the city down.
