I kept picking this book up in the bookstore and putting it back down after reading the first line on the back. Sounded like a futuristic fantasy novel that I wouldn't like. Then I watched the trailer for the upcoming movie and thought it had an interesting plot. (Similar to that other movie we've all seen.) So I went out and bought the book.
