Web Of Angels

Web Of Angels | Lilian Nattel

Web of Angels

I loved this book so much that I've asked Lilian Nattel to offer a guest blog in February 2012 on my site at: www.gailanderson-dargatz.ca. Vincent Lam guest blogs on writing a novel

  • About Me:

Check out my website at http://www.gailanderson-dargatz.ca not just for more about me, but about other writers as well. The website features regular guest blogs by both established and up and coming writers. I teach fiction and novel in the creative writing optional-residency MFA program at the University of British Columbia, and I divide my time between Manitoulin Island and the Shuswap-Thompson region, the landscape found in much of my writing.

  • My Works:

The Cure for Death by Lighting and A Recipe for Bees were international bestsellers, and were both finalists for the prestigious Giller Prize in Canada. The Cure for Death by Lightning won the UK’s Betty Trask Prize among other awards. A Rhinestone Button was a national bestseller in Canada and my first book, The Miss Hereford Stories, was short-listed for the Leacock Award for humour. Turtle Valley, just out in trade paperback, is a Canadian bestseller.

  • Interests:

    Writing, teaching, chasing my kids.

    Hi Gail,
Thanks for sending the friend request. I have enjoyed your books very much.
I've seen The Winter Palace mentioned on RandomHouse.ca and also in Canadian Living magazine. It sounds really good and I want to read more historical fiction. I'll check out the blog postings you mentioned. I've also bookmarked your website. Looking forward to sharing books with you. I'm on Goodreads.com also,if you want to look for me there.

Nice to meet you here. I am a big fan of yours. Cure for Death by Lightening could very well be the reason there is a llittle bit of magic in The Day the Falls Stood Still.
