  Not really impressed by this book. Woman on her way to have lunch with the Queen for 80th b-day drives off road into ravine. Spends entire book in ravine awaiting rescue, reliving life. BORING. She isn't even saved in the end (she dies, I guess?), so why do I care about your boring life? Nothing good even happened.

  Bought late August 2009 from Goodwill, finished October 5, 2009. Definitely not her best book, but looking back I did enjoy it. Easy read. Helen kills 83-year-old mother and we follow her throughout the next 24 hours with her ex-husband and eventually children. Confusing ending. Kills herself? Gives herself up? Huh?
