    MacFly says:

Hi Harriett - I just saw your note about The Lovely Bones. I really enjoyed it! It was a very different book, not the usual fare you come across. Have you read any other of Sebold's books? I have The Almost Moon but haven't read it yet.

It's about a man's journey thru the death of his 6 yr. old daughter.I almost didn't buy it because I struggled with the " religiosity"of it. Still not sure I am "in sync" with it.

    I don't know that one - 'The Shack' - what's it about?

You'd probably like "Practical Magic" (upon which a so-so movie was made), or, perhaps better "The Probable Future."

I'm glad you liked it! Did you ever read any Alice Hoffman?
