I hadn't planned on reading this book. Ever, really. I didn't think it was my thing. But it was a pick for my bookclub and so I had to. I fell achingly, hauntingly in love with this book. I wish that Henry and Clare could continue to be in my life - and was sad that the book had to end. Such a beautifully told story - and I must also say that I have never - ever - shed so many tears over so many pages while reading a book. And the devestation - the sobbing - was also welcome.
