  • About Me:

Live in two Canadian cities, married, four grown children, three large canines, two cats, salt water fish tank and an appallingly large collection of books as I have an aversion to borrowing from the library. I enjoy reading almost any type of literature with one exception, science fiction. I love to travel, but not in the conventional sense. I detest resorts and tour groups. I prefer to trek and explore the least travelled areas of my chosen destination.

    Kim says:

Thanks Barb! I'll definitely look that one up! Did you read "The Kite Runner"? I know that they made a movie out of it (I haven't seen it and didn't know anything about it when I read it). I found the book so emotionally exhausting I had to change gears (i.e. the biography).

    Thanks again!

Perhaps in retrospect I was a little nasty in my criticism (of "The Gargoyle"), but this book just did not sit well with me. Sorry! Do you have a book to recommend? I'm currently reading a biography - to cleanse the literary palate.
