Dress Your Family In Corduroy And Denim | David Sedaris

meh...

I read a lot of Augusten Burroughs and when I told someone this they said, "Oh, then you will LOVE David Sedaris." So I tried it, and I'm not a fan. I find him a little negative, and annoyingly sarcastic. Augusten Burroughs for the most part always has me reading and reading and reading, however when it came to Sedaris - I found myself bored and wanting to put the book down and move on to something else... read review

    Hey,
Yeah, everytime I walk past it in a book store I think to myself I should really read this! I'm looking forward to finally getting a chance to read it, I've heard nothing but great things about it! :)

    Hey Jeff!
Happy Holidays! I hope your show out west went well. Are you back at Manulife?
Enjoyed Glass Castle. I read each chapter with almost complete shock.
Gonna go with the Agassi book now. Never get enough of that autobiography/social history stuff.
    See you around hopefully!

    HI

I will get it for sure. I love those connections between what inspired the book.. and the book. This recently happened to me... I read the Agaasi book OPen. It was cowritten with a writer Mohringer who won a prize for writing the Tender Bar. I am now reading Tender Bar and it is awesome. Happy holidays.

Thanks for the note.. Are you back now?? Will pop by to say hello!
I have been eyeing that Judy Garland for a while now. It will be my next read. Just finished the new Marilyn Monroe biography and was already thinking to recommend it to you. It was excellent!
    Cheers,

Holy crow, that would be awesome if there is another Phantom! I've seen the movie so many times, saw the play a couple years ago in T-dot, have the music on my iPod...I just love it! I was a bit disappointed that they cast Gerard Butler (even though I like him as an actor) to play the part of a musical genius, when he can't really sing. He did the other parts well, but the fact that he's semi-tone def kind of ruined it for me.

Do you know why it went out of publishing? kuz that's kind of disappointing. Do you own it?

    Tomato Rodriguez says:

Hellayess. I noticed you have Andrew Lloyd Webber and Phantom of the Opera and you liked them both. RIGHT ON! I haven't read either, but I'm a huge fan of both! What did they consist of? I'm especially interested in the Phantom. ;)
