Happy Accidents

Happy Accidents | Jane Lynch

Surprisingly Boring!

I like Jane Lynch as an actress but this book was a straight chronicle of her life and career that wasn’t particularly insightful or humorous. I found this book very dry and uninteresting despite Jane's struggles with alcoholism, coming out of the closet, and succeeding in show business. Also, there is very little ‘Glee’ content which is sure to disappoint fans of the show. read review

Ya, I'm done reading it. I like the Eat part of the book but the rest got boring fast! I movie wasn't that good either. I fell asleep while watching.
I don't get why it was so popular.

Ya I thought the death toll was crazy. It was quite the sad, but also not sad ending, you know what I mean? I thought it ended well. But ya, it wasn't the happy ending that I expected. It's a great series thought eh? Neil's reading it now, he just started.

    Hello Jenn,

Thank you very much for the kind note. It's great to hear you enjoyed my novel. I know what you mean about not having much time to read. My wife and I just brought home our first (a boy) yesterday. I haven't slept in three days now.

    Take care of yourself.

I have read Emily Giffin's Something BOrrowed and really liked it. My favourite Chick lit author is Meg Cabbot. I love Boy Next Door!!! It is really funny!

    What are you reading now?

I'm reading City of Bones...I thought it was a little confusing in the beginning but now that I'm further into it, I'm really enjoying it.

Good idea about looking in the library. I did a search and it is available there. I put in a request for it. It was released March last year. I wonder if Chapters got the date wrong and hasn't ordered it because of that.

Hey I have a question for you. There is a book I want to buy: Fablehaven - Grip of the Shadow Plague (book 3). It has already been released but Chapters says it's not released until March 2009. The one that is coming out March 2009 is the fourth book. The third book is available through Amazon, but why isn't it through chapters? If you can figure this out for me that would be great! I'm almost done book 2 and I know I'm going to want to get into book 3 right away.

It only has one of the original characters but I think the scenario that the girls get into and how they get out of it was funny. Worth reading. Someone bought the rights for a TV series or movie based on the original book

    Hey Jenn,
I have read Shoe Addicts Anonymous and Secrets of a Shoe Addict. Very good and quick chick lit reads. If you liked Sex and the City, In her Shoes, The Nanny Diaries you should like them.
