HELP isn't so helpful

I received a Kobo Arc for Christmas and I love it. BUT I can't get my e mail connected. I tried calling Bell and they don't support it. I tried "chat" with Kobo yesterday and that didn't go very far but she said she would send me an e mail with the steps. I didn't get it. I phoned yesterday afternoon and the person I talked to didn't really know how to do this. He said he would send me an e mail with the steps. Didn't get it.
