I have had the pleasure of meeting Wendy Dudley on a couple of occasions and can tell you she is a great conversationalist so I was looking forward to reading her book; Don’t name the ducks and other truths about life in the country. I was not disappointed it is a book with soul. At first I expected some chronological order but then got into the rhythm of the vignettes each one holding a different story about rural life in southwest Alberta.
