Multiple Blessings

Multiple Blessings | Kate Gosselin

A great read for fans of Jon and Kate plus 8
3 years ago

I absolutely love the TLC show Jon and Kate plus 8, and reading this book gives a great background of their lives. It discusses their pregnancies, and how Kate coped through knowing she had 6 children on the way. I am not religious, so reading the descriptions of biblical scriptures was lost on me. However, having seen Kate at a book signing, I have a whole new respect for what she does. Clearly there is stress, and troubles with this family. But they persevere, and still have kept their f… read review

I sometimes get frustrated with contests :(

Yet again, another amazing Twilight contest (win a private premiere to see the movie)...and I can't enter :( Its great being an employee, but that broke my heart today!
I encourage you all to enter..and maybe bring me along as one of your 20 friends if you live in London! :P view post

Kaitlyn, I've started an Elizabeth Chadwick book club. for some reason it's not letting me extend an invite to you even though I know you are a huge fan. Look for the club on my profile page and come one in :-) Cate

Right on, they sound good. Which one is your favourite then?
    I can't get ENOUGH of History-based books! I love History. :D

A few people I know have read Other Boleyn Girl, loved it, and hated the movie. I love the movie, but probably won't after the book. I have that on my Wish List.
I checked out Chadwick (I went to your page, lol, you have all of them, don't you?) and they look pretty good. What is it that you love about her series?

Yah, man, I was walking past this book store, and I saw that in the window, and I had to have it! I recognized it as being on my shelf, lol. I promise you I will read them in order, I can NEVER read books that aren't chronological. I can't even start on #2 in a series, even if the first one is irrelevant or a dumb read. I just can't do it!
I'll definitely check out Liz Chadwick right now. Are you into historical fiction as well?

    Hey Kaitlyn, how's it going?
I was reading reviews on Diana Gabaldon's Outlanders (which I bought today!) and after reading your review, decided to check out your profile again. It seems like a really amazing book! I hope I'm not disappointed in it because I especially like historic novels, with romance, of course. ;)
Have you read the whole series?

  • Cate Crow

    Cate Crow says:

Hi Kaitlyn...yes, I've written to her twice and she has wrote me right back the same day. We both do historical re-enacting so we chatted about that as well as her books. Love her!

so happy to have found a fellow lover of Elizabeth Chadwick's books! I'm a big fan of hers and can't wait until her follow up novels to The Wild Hunt are released too. I hope she keeps churning out her stories for years and years to come! :-)

Saw one of your notes...Blood and Chocolate happens to be absolutely Fabulous! It has got a great main character and lots of suprises along the way! A series I would also recommend would be Stray,Rogue and Pride (by Rachel Vincent)which happens to be about Werecats .
