I started to read this book because I was curious to see what type of book J.K. Rowling would write following her successful Harry Potter series - a daunting task. For readers who like plot-driven books, this is not for you. This book is for readers enjoying books focusing on characters and setting. The first 100 pages are hard to get through as there are so many characters to keep track of. The teenage characters are the most interesting and well-developed.
