I have to say, I really didn't expect much from this book. I figured it would be your average teenage paranormal romance with faeries. But I was very surprised. This book is unique and enchanting. The characters were pretty well written. I enjoyed reading events from Laurel's perspective, especially since she's new to public school after being homeschooled her whole life. Her relationship with David was also really cute. I can't say I was a fan of the "love-trriangle" though. I think its be… read review

Thanks, I'll check them out! Have you read Gena Showalter at all? She has a Darkness series and the warriors all have a demon inside of them. She also has an Atlantis series.

Hi Kate. I have been trying to find other series like Nalini Singh but haven't had much luck but I do like Pamela Palmer. I haven't tried that series, but I will look it up. Have you read any J.R. Ward, her Brotherhood series? It's a good vampire series.

Ooh, definitely Graceling! I loved that book. It was a little slow in the middle and not as much action as I would have liked, but it was overall really good and I can't wait for the second one. Wondrous Strange was alright... a lot like Wicked Lovely if you've read that one, but not one of my favourite books.

  • Seca

    Seca says:

Definetly worth reading. It's deep and haunting and different, but kept me wanting to read and that's a good thing.
