The Brutal Telling

The Brutal Telling | Louise Penny

Another Hit

I am a Louise Penny fan and feel this new book (5th in the Gamache/Three Pines series) is a hit. Armand Gamache once again solves the murder with the aid of his team. This book introduced more characters into the normal cast and I hope they will appear again in future writings. I find that Penny's writing is very much like Agatha Christie's and fans of Christie would most undoubtely enjoy Penny. I look forward to reading the next in the series. read review

I haven't been to the KW Quilting show! email me a link at raksha403@yahoo.ca. Did you see a Connie Archembaux there? She was my quilting contact here in To.

Hi Kay - the relevant quilt books are FINALLy available thru Indigo - they are great. I have some former students that want me to teach them to quilt. It is great that there are some 'luddites' still out there. Glad that you enjoy the books - there hasn't been a 'bad' one yet! But do try the Earlene Fowler & Monica Ferris ones as well. You will enjoy them.

Hey Marmi, I was looking at the bargain books section and stumbled across an interesting book. It's called The Interpretation of a Murder by Rubenfield Jed. It's seem to be about Freud and how he witnessed a murder the traumatized him. It has been listed as a Heather's pick- which I assume means other people have enjoyed it. Seems more like a mystery then what I normally read but was wondering what you thought?

You are reading three books right now? Well hopefully you enjoy those - especially twilight. As I am certain you will enjoy it once you get into it. I have yet to hear a person not enjoy it.
