Darkness Edge Town

Darkness Edge Town | Brian Keene

Not quite a three....

I like Brian Keene's books but to be honest none of them have wowed me like The Rising and City of the Dead. I still enjoy his books but they're usually just a quick read when I don't want to get invested in something too much. Case in point "Darkness on the Edge of Town". It's short, not even 300 pages....the material is nothing original, I've read many small town, end of the world books before and most of them were better. His writing is fast paced, which makes it a quick read. Sadly the s… read review

Less than three weeks until Stephen King's new book "Under the Dome".......November 10th! I have to say that I am very excited about this one. His last novel "Duma Key" was outstanding and I've heard UtheD is very long, multi-character based and about a small town......some of my favorite King book qualitites.

Plus it couldn't come at a better time because November is when my boyfriend goes hunting at the cabin. And yeah I don't hunt but reading at the cabin by the fire, that I enjoy :)
