I am so glad you enjoyed the Secret Daughter. I don't sign on here much anymore but I hope you are well and reading many great books!

To answer your other question, yes, I have started The Water is Wide and am loving it. I definutely think any of his books are worth buying. But then again Pat Conroy is incredible. I love all his books. They are all so lyrically written that his work has a semi-poetic feel to it. The only two I haven't read are South of Broad which is waiting for me on my book self and The Boo which is out of print. Personallly, I can't wait till September that's when his new book comes out.

Nineteen minutes was great but then every book of hers that I've read has been good. I got to go to her book signing in Toronto. She read from House Rules, answered questions (she was so funny), and then did a book signing. I was book 150 only I brought my own book.

Hi Lana, thanxs for the friend invite. You also have some interesting books on your shelf too. As you can see I love to read just about anything, I seem to go through some crazy changes, LOL. I do love to read authors who have book series, right now I am enjoying the paranormal/romance ones. OMG love me some vampires....well happy reading Lana ^-^

Yes, he does have a way with words that's what I love about him. Have you read any of his other works. The only one I've read is The Prince of Tides, another favourite, but I'm interested in reading some more of his stuff. Do you have any suggestions, for me?

  • Lady Knight

You've got some interesting looking books on your shelf as well. How was the second book in the "Darcys and Bingleys" series? I've haven't gotten around to reading it yet, but I loved the first one.
    I love your picture!
