Wow! What an incredible story, I didn't want it to end. This is by far my favourite book in this Guild Series. I was a little surprised that it was Dmitri to get his story first out of the other cast of characters. This is a beautiful love story told over the passage of time set in the often brutal and cruel world of angels and vampires. Dmitri and Honor both have terrible pasts. They meet when Honor is called in to assist on what should be a Guild case, but turns out to be more sinister an… read review
