Across The Universe

Across The Universe | Beth Revis

Nearly Perfect!

DISCLAIMER: It may be hard to understand my review if you haven't read the book... But I just have to let my thought be known! But I promise that I've kept it spoiler-free. :) So, you know how the publishers do that annoying thing where they change the cover of the book? To be honest, the fact that they changed the cover is what attracted me to this book. Across the Universe is the second space-ship kind of book that I've ever read. The first one that I read was Glow, and I can tell you that… read review

on the BEA website and then wait to see if it's accepted. And then once that's out of the way, then you have to worry about hotel and transportation on New York on your own terms.

I really hope I can attend the event in the future because it's always looks liked so much fun getting the chance to meet all those authors and getting copies of books there. :)

Don't worry, it's not a silly questions at all. I've never actually been to BEA either, so I'm not exactly too sure how it works, but I think there's a section on the official website where you can apply for some sort of pass that allows you to attend the event as "press" or something like that. I *think* you have to pay for BEA tickets, but I'm not exactly sure b/ I haven't really bothered too look too much into it. But no, book bloggers aren't invited, they just sort of fill out a form...

The B3G4 sale always happens AFTER I already buy a ton of books, but my sister & I couldn't resist each getting two books.

For recommendations, I was going to definitely suggest The Girl in the Steel Corset next! It's exciting & a very good introduction to the steampunk genre! I can't to get my hands on the 2nd book. If you want a major love triangle w/ the supernatural, then go with Nightshade. Once you start reading it, you might not want to stop though, lol.

You have to let me know when you read Chain Reaction!! It's my favorite book in the series. :) I loved the vampire academy books, i just finished them myself not too long ago. I was satisfied with the ending :D I just finished reading City of lost souls by cassandra clare which was amazing! I can't remember if you told me whether or not you've read any books by her... if not you definitily should! I also just started reading The Night Circus. What about you, read anything interesting lately?

... read the post, but let me know if you're still not sure. When I first started blogging, I Googled and read a whole bunch of posts like that to help me out.

My advice would be to copy and paste any html codes you find helpful in a Word document so it's easy to refer back to when you need it again.

And nope, I haven't read any of Philippa Gregory's books besides the Changeling one I just reviewed. I thought it would be better, but apparently, her adult books are good though at least.

No, I don't think it's considered rude to leave a link with your blog in your comments! I usually just leave a comment, but a lot more people leave their blog links these days.

To get a blog link so you don't have to paste your actual url, you need the html codef for it. It's simple to use once you have it. This link should help tell you how to do it:

It should be straightforward how to add a link once you...
