The Eat-clean Diet: Fast Fat-loss That Lasts Forever! | Tosca Reno

Best Diet Out There

This is hands down the best diet I have ever been on. It just makes sense and it works. I have lost 21 lbs and my husband has lost 23 in 2 1/2 months. We will continue to stay with this lifestyle change. I don't remember when I have felt this healthy! read review

Book Club review for Feb

Well, we had another great book this month- One Thousand White Women. A fictional account of a group of women from very different backgrounds who come together in a program set up by the US Gov't to help 'civilize' the Cheyenne Indians. The deal is that they must marry and have children with the Natives and then will be given their freedom. Some have been in trouble with the law, some coming from mental institutions, some orphaned, some poor. They all come together to learn from each other … view post

    Hi Lisa,
Just had a friend of mine recomending me a book. "Slumdog milionaire", you probably heard of it since it was nominated for so many oscars. Aparently the book is very diferent from the book but simply spetacular. The writing is awesome and it is amazingly easy to read. Give it a shot. I'm buying it as soon as I get to a chapters store!!
How's world without end working for you?

You probably have noticed that I love history. That's why I read so many historical novels. London is an awesome story about how it became such an big city. I think you would like it. You just need to be in the mood, cus it's a huge book.
    keep in touch.

Thanks so much for thinking of me Lisa! That sounds like a fabulous book and I will definitely be adding it to my list. I especially appreciate the books that are empowering for young girls, as opposed to all of this airheaded clique stuff that is out there. It sounds like something I will pass along to my niece as well. Thanks again.

    Hi,
How've you been? It's been a while since we spoke and I see you finish some books. How was the "One thousand white women?".
I notice you have the mistress of death among the plan to read. I don't want to discourage you but I really strugled with that one. It was not that great. It was lacking something.
I really want to read the book of negroes wich you have finished. How was it? is it as good as people say? I'm reading an historical novel. It's really interesting. Keep in touch.

    Hi Lisa,
I noticed you finished the "Pillars", hope you enjoyed it! I surely did!
How's the one you are reading right now? It looks interesting!
I checked your plan to read shelf and added some of the items there to my list! Thanks for the tip.
Hope to hear from you soon!

Did you finish "Pillars of the Earth" yet...it has got to be one of my favourites...I still haven't done the follow up ....a little behind on my reading lately....Do read "Little Giant of Aberdeen County" that is coming out this month...it is superb!!

I read the Kite Runner when the movie was not out yet and loved it.. Now, I heard this one is even better, and that's why I can't wait to read it! I'm having so much trouble to finish the one I'm reading right now. The Mistress of the Art of Death. The story is not bad but for some reason I can't relate to the characters and I've read more than half of the book. I'm tempted to put it aside but it is such a defeat to do that. Do you ever put a book aside when you don't like it?

  • Echo

    Echo says:

That is absolutely amazing! Very Cool!
Regarding the book you are going to read it sounds extremely interesting. Once you finish let me know if it's as good as it sounds. In the meanwhile I finished the book I was reading (The Guernsey Potato Peel Pie Society). I really enjoyed it but I wished it wasn't such a small book. I wanted more. Now I have to finish my other ones so I can start the one I'm really looking forward to read: "A thousand splendid suns".
    Have you read it?

    Hi Lisa,
So how was your meeting yesterday? What book will you be reading this month?
I read something about the name of your book club being awesome. What is it called?
