If you do not have to customize your Internet security settings, click Default Level. Then do step 4.
If you have to customize your Internet security settings, follow these steps:
a. Click Custom Level.
b. In the Security Settings - Internet Zone dialog box, click Enable for Active Scripting in the Scripting section.
Click the Back button to return to the previous page, and then click the Refresh button to run scripts.

About Me:

My first novel, The Handless Maiden, was published by Doubleday Canada in 1998 and was a finalist for both the 1999 Chapters/Books in Canada First Novel Award and the B.C. Book Award for fiction. It was also longlisted for the 2000 International IMPAC Dublin Literary Award. I currently teach nonfiction writing at Trinity Western University, Langley, BC.

Interests:

A few things I've obsessed over for my current novel: the art of Norval Morrisseau. Monasticism, medieval and modern. The life, philosophy, and music of Peter Abelard. Restorative justice, the bioethics of reproductive technologies.
Favourite Books:

Anything by Robertson Davies.
Favourite Movies:

Anything with Clive Owen! (Will someone please cast him in the movie version of my current novel, Blind Judgment? He'd be perfect for the protagonist, Jack Penticost.
Favourite Music:

Planctus David by Peter Abelard. Choral music by John Rutter. Anything by John Hiatt.
