The Hunger Games

The Hunger Games | Suzanne Collins

My heart could not stop racing.

I do not know the last time when I read a book where I felt like my heart was going to beat to fast. I loved, loved, loved this book. I wish I hadn't read the back of it before I started not knowing some things would of made it even more intense. I recommended Twilight to my sister and she started reading it without knowing anything about it (not even that they were vampires) so she was always trying to figure out what they were right along with Bella. This is a book that not knowing what is r… read review

I didn't really like Hush Hush that much either. Thier connection seemed forced and I was really annoyed by her best friend. I prefer a strong female character to a bubble head. I liked Christina Dodd's Paranormals books but not as much as her historical ones.
I'm really excited to read the Hathaways. Waiting for the new ones is the hard part :) Lisa Kleypas is one of my favorite authors.

I feel the same way about Kelly Armstrongs YA series. I liked the ending but it left room for more. I can't wait for her next YA series. I know it set in the same world as her previous books so I'm also hoping they will overlap.
    Happy Reading!!!

I was pretty dissapointed when I read the description of Fire. I will read it when it comes in the library. Can't wait for Bitterblue's story. next year.
How are storm/sea glass? I read that they were not very good.

My mom has been talking about moving back because the houses are cheaper than up here, but I don't think it is going to happen.
My Aunt and Uncles name is Ellsworth.
Being a make-up artist sounds like an exciting career.

I hadn't heard of that site. I'll have to check it out. Is it Canadian (i.e. can you pay in Cdn dollars)?

I keep looking at that series but haven't tried it yet. Too many books, not enough time.

Hi. Thanks for the invite. I see you plan to read Chloe Neill. Great new series! Have you checked out the Books Outlet for audio books? I often see them there for way cheaper than the actual paperback.

I know you like poision study so I thought you might like to try reading Graceling by Kristin Cashore. It reminds me of that book and it good too.

My mom is from Reserve Mines. I think thats where she was. My Aunt and uncle live in a trailer park right on the ocean.

What part of Cape Breton do you live in? My mom is from there and in fact just came back from a trip to Cape Breton. I have quite a few relatives who live there.

One series I would like to order is by Dakota Cassidy. They look like they could be funny.
