City of Glass

City of Glass | Cassandra Clare

Will Leave You Satisfied!

Just like everyone else, I've been anticipating reading City of Glass, and finally finding out what would happen to Jace, Clary and co. After all the anticipation, this book did not disappoint! City of Glass has by far one of the most satisfying endings to a series/trilogy! It tied up all the loose ends and the author gave you what you wanted but not in a way that made it unbelievable. It wasn't so happy that it was unrealistic...there were happy moments and sad moments and terrifying moments a… read review

The Time Travelers WIfe... I have heard it is such a great book.
What are your thoughts thus far?

Don't worry. It was a good book aside from the setting change and one other thing. And one of my friends does exactly what you do, so I have practice in the not-telling department :P
I absolutely loved Peter Pan as a kid. Even now, whenever I get sad, I go listen to You Can Fly on YouTube because it makes me feel better (not the "message" or anything, just because it makes me happy).

Lol oh you're forgiven :) I've read the part one of the lord of the rings as well and have a chapter left of the decond part thats been sitting for about 3 years, i have the black boring cover. How are you liking it so far? I'm reading 'Darkness Everlasting' by Alexandra Ivy, and i'm really enjoying it. how's your weekend going?

    Kammy says:

Hey thanks for suggesting 'Gracling'. I have actually read it already and I did really enjoy it.

Are you a fan of the LotR movies? I love the music! its so great!
Rebel Angels is awesome!! it has definitely lived up to my expectations. I'm reading it nonstop, I can't put it down! its one of those books where you get so wrapped up in it that you don't realize you've just torn through a big portion of the book... and of the day. my mom likes to interrupt me when I'm reading though, and totally kicks me out of my literary groove. don't you hate that?! I HATE that! PET PEEVE!!!

Well I just finished 'The Sweet Far Thing' (spoiler alert) and I agree with you that the book could be very frustrating. It was just hard to believe that Kartik would give up his life for her when they spent almost all 3 books running away from each other. I liked the idea behind the book, but it never took off for me and the ending went on and on. So many of the story lines seemed to end in dead ends.

Yay! Let me know what you think when you've finished.
So I just finished it.. I got a lot of the stuff, but some of it I was wrong about. It was pretty good, but a lot of the characters were missing that we came to know and love (I personally missed Ahuda a lot :P ). Overall I liked it, even though it had a very different feeling from the last one. And do you ACTUALLY want me to answer your question about Rosto? :P

    Thank you!
Yes, the movie was amazing! It's about three hours long though, but still awesome. It's one that you really have to pay attention to though, just to catch everything. See it for sure!

Exactly, one of my friend's is like that, she only started reading the sookie series now because the first cover changed, lol. So what are you reading now?

  • Tomato Rodriguez

    Tomato Rodriguez says:

I love Scott W. (Uglies are AWESOME!) and I love vampires, so I will probably...definitely like that book, lol. I've heard good things. I am the same! I read the Hobbit in grade 4, again in grade 6, and again in grade 8. It is such an AMAZING book! I love it! I tried to read LotR after grade 6, but I just couldn't...I 'm going to try again soon, though! How's Fellowship?
I REALLY want to read T.T.W. Heard good things, looks amazing. I usually read good books, hah! Series, deep books, anything!

  • The Hunger Games

Katniss is a 16-year-old girl living with her mother and younger sister in the poorest district of Panem, the remains of what used be the United States. Long ago the districts waged war on the Capitol and were defeated. As part of the surrender terms, each district agreed to send one boy and one girl to appear in an annual televised event called, "The Hunger Games." The terrain, rules, and level of audience participation may change but one thing is constant: kill or be killed.
