This book is very easy reading – typical of McCall Smith’s style. I think it took about 2 hours to read it – so if you have little time, and want to be able to enjoy and complete something – this book is for you. read review

Of course, this author has gained popularity because of the recent movie, "The Other Boleyn Girl" which was adapted from her novel. However, I have found her series to be quite interesting.
She uses considerable historical references in creating her novels, which she acknowledges as fact.
I recently bought "The Virgin's Lover" and intend to read this. Does anyone know how it stacks up against the book, "The Other Boleyn Girl", because Idid find that particular book VERY … view post
