Fantastic book! This is the first in the "Dominion" trilogy, about a group of people who've been "shifted". They call themselves the "Loci", and they all wear special rings. Each of the Loci have a different special ability (telekinesis, etc)... I couldn't put this book down, and I'm not usually the "fantasy genre" type! LOL
