Catching Fire: The Second Book of The Hunger Games

Catching Fire: The Second Book of The Hunger Games | Suzanne Collins

The best sequel EVER!

After reading The Hunger Games, I felt worried that the sequel wouldn't live up to its predecessor. Well, I was wrong! Catching Fire is just as good if not better then the Hunger Games. The ending leaves me counting down the days until the final installment of the series, Mockingjay, is released. read review

    Thanks :)
I'd have to say I recommend you to read the Confessions of Georgia Nicolson series by Louise Rennison if you haven't yet. If you enjoy funny books, that's a series that would be perfect for you. Oh, the Pretty Little Liars series is one of my fave as well. I'm just about finishing the last one that came out, Twisted, and it's pretty good :)

    Hey,
Were the Gone books really good?

No problem! I'm so glad you liked it. :)
There's also a sequel called The Resistance. It's pretty good, but I think I like the first book better.

Thanks! It's really, really good. I didn't expect to like it so much, but yeah.. :)
If you read it, tell me how it goes, will you? :)

Oh yeah! It's a really, really good book. You should definitely give it a try! I explained the plot line in my review, so you can take a look!! :)

Lmao, it's alright :) Um...first of all, after I read the Vampire Diaries, it iunnerved me when I realized that Twilight was basically an exact copy of that series. Second of all, the first movie was a gross disappointment. Thirdly, Breaking Dawn was also a disappointment. I'm a Jacob fan, you see, and I didn't enjoy the fact that he imprinted on a BABY!!! Also, Bella and Edward were to busy screwing to take care of their child.

Hmm, I think the Peeta at the end was like a new one who learned to love Katniss again, but he still had some fond memories of her too. So he probably remembered that he loved her, and then saw it for himself all over again and realized that she was the one he would always love no matter what...

I've read the Hunger Games ( love it!) and just bought Mockingjay today, so I'm excited to read it. Um...pretty much lost all respect for Stephenie Meyer and the Twilight series. Hush Hush was AMAZING and can't wait for the sequel :D Thanks for all the reccomendations!

    Midnight Sunrise says:

Very true. I guess that part where Katniss was thinking about Gale at the end & how he was probably kissing another girl was basically Collins telling us that Gale found -- or will find -- a new life without Katniss. Although I picked Peeta, I was still sad to see Gale leave because I knew that he was Katniss' best friend.
Yeah, at the end, that girl from the District 8 bombing becomes president of Panem. I forgot her name and I don't have my copy right now, but her name start's with a "P". :P

Perfect Chemistry by Simone Elkeles; Rules of Attraction (the sequel); Stolen by Lucy Christopher; Blood and Chocolate by Annette Klause; Hush Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick...LMAO! Trust me, they're all great books ;D

Do you have any reccommendations for me?
